GA 4 now supports Search Console integration and Google Ads link import from UA

Google has introduced several updates to Google Analytics 4. These include support for integration with Search Console, the ability to import Google Ads links from Universal Analytics, and enhanced access to the Probability of Loss metric.

Search Console Integration

As part of the Search Console integration, two new reports will be available for Google Analytics 4 assets:

  • Basic Google searches. This report presents the search terms and associated Search Console metrics for the corresponding resource in that service. You can get more data by using Search Console options. The data can also be viewed in the GSC.
  • Regular Google search traffic. This report can view Search Console and Analytics metrics for your landing pages. For more information, see the Country and Device options.

For more information on integrating with Search Console, see Help.

Importing Google Ads Links from Universal Analytics G

oogle Analytics 4 now supports importing Google Ads links from Universal Analytics. The user only needs the editor role to copy links using the new tool.

The new feature will be available:

  • When you create a GA 4 asset from a Universal Analytics asset.
  • In a GA 4 property, if it is properly linked to a UA property and the UA property has Google Ads links.

Expanded access to the indicator "Probability of loss"

Google has also expanded access to the Probability of Loss metric, one of the predicted metrics in GA 4. Now, many of those who previously could not use this metric will be able to use it.
