Google Launches SXG Validator for Pages with Signature Exchange Feature

Google has launched a page verification tool with Signed Exchange (SXG) functionality. A link to it has already been added to the reference manual for this functionality. It was reported on the section dedicated to the latest updates in search. The new SXG Validator tool is a Chrome extension. According to the description, it can be used to check every page where an exchange with a signature is provided. The extension checks if the function works. To do this, you have to go to the page with SXG support and click on the extension icon to see the information.

What is SXG

The signed sharing feature allows Google to prefetch content without compromising the user’s confidentiality. It indicates that pre-loading of certain key resources (such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS code, as well as images and fonts) in a privacy-preserving mode may be performed in organic and AMP search results if the hosting site supports SXG technology.
